We have been growing garlic for four years now and have found ten varieties that have worked well for us.  We will be offering limited amounts of all ten varieties for the 2011 planting season.  Order early as supplies are limited on some varieties.
 
Rocambole Hard Neck Garlic
German Red - Great strong German garlic.
Russian Red - Brought to B.C. by Doukhobor immigrants from Russia.  Large cloves and strong!
Baba Franchuk - Great flavor, large cloves.  Listed in Seeds of Diversity catalogue as endangered and hard to find.
Korean Purple - Large cloves, great flavor.  Listed in Seeds of Diversity catalogue as endangered and hard to find.

Porcelain Hard Neck Garlic
Georgian Fire – strong pleasant heat.  Stores well.  Listed in Seeds of Diversity catalogue as endangered and hard to find.
Polish Hardneck – hot large cloves.
Susan Delafield – strong large bulbs, tolerates wet conditions.  Listed in Seeds of Diversity catalogue as endangered and hard to find.

Artichoke Hardneck Garlic
Asian Tempest – originally from South Korea, great flavor, medium heat, early harvest.

Purple Stripe Hardneck Garlic
Chesnok Red – called a gourmet roasting garlic.  Listed in Seeds of Diversity catalogue as endangered and hard to find.

Softneck Garlic
Sicilian Gold – medium strength, large bulbs, great flavour.
